This was supposed to be one of the “upgraded” restaurants that wanted to pay-to-play with the city and Midway. They moved into the old Potbelly Sandwich Shop; they certainly did not spend much money on the infrastructure of the store as they used the Potbelly Sandwich Shop’s cabinets and wood shelving.
It had been a long time since I had a Home Run Pizza; it wasn’t half bad. I had ordered the sausage; the crust was perfect: not too doughy, not super crisp – it was just right.
As for the price, $11.99, it is what it is for airport food. But it was funny as they had to hide all the utensils, napkins, etc. behind the counter, and you had to ask for everything.
